Description: Steirereck is a restaurant run by a celebrity chef, Heinz Reitbauer. The restaurant design was inspired from their special food ingredient, Ruta Chalepensis. Ruta Chalepensis is a species of flowering plant in the citrus family. It is uniquely sweet and has soapy aroma with hints of coconut and passionfruit. “Fringed”, “Undulate” and “Ovoid” were the three key words that used to describe the overall design concept.
