Nights In The Wood

Description: The nocturnal world has always been left in the dark and less mindful of amongst the animal kingdom. Night in the Woods is a creative project that sets up an interactive environment which incites audiences to immerse themselves in the installation as if they are exploring the night forest.

The project revolves around the idea of understanding nocturnal animals and their vision by adopting the point of view of different nocturnal animals, allowing audiences to discover the difference between how people look at the world and how nocturnal animals do.

The installation consists of a specially crafted “flashlight” and an interactive wall of simulated forest at night. Using the “flashlight” provided, audience’s mission is to look for hidden nocturnal animals and then virtualize the forest through the eyes of the animal.
